How to serve
Remove from carton and place the cake on a flat surface. Before removing collar, slide knife between cake and collar to release. Hold the cake and with a long, clean serrated knife, cut cake into slices using a sawing action. It is important to keep the knife clean between slices.

Only wish it was bigger
Thought it was rather lush personally. The sultanas accompany the moist sponge really well and I just wish it was a bit bigger. Wouldn't mind having it again.

bring back the carrot cake u used to sell with layer of frosting inside cake aswel was much nicer to eat and less dry bring back the original

Just like homemade!!!
I fail to understand the negative reviews of this cake if bought from shop and not online. I have never brought home any inferior bakery, fish, cheese or vegetables when buying from the store. If I am in any doubt about a product from these areas I always ask the person in charge of the department in question. I appreciate that is different if buying online, but, there again if you are not satisfied with a product there is always the opportunity of either a replacement or refund. In my opinion we are lucky to have a store like Morrisons in the area, with fair priced goods, comparable quality and pleasant service. Wake up shoppers, you do not know when you well off!!

Inferior quality
This cake used to be lovely and a little bigger. It weighs 400 grms, is stodgy and certainly not large enough for 6 people as stated on the box. I will not be buying this cake again from Morrisons, which is such a shame as I used to buy it as a treat.
