Variable quality
We've bought this for years, and it used to be consistently good - tender, juicy, and sweet. Recently, however, we've had two bags that were very poor - hard, husky, chewy and tasteless. The latest bag has been good again. In conclusion: hit and miss!
Hit or miss
Really variable quality, have had bags that have had really juicy, tasty corn, as good as branded, but equally as many bags with tasteless, hard corn, that we feed to the chickens as tastes so bad! Due to the inconsistency would not recommend.
Disappointing
Not much flavour and I agree with other customers who say it is hard to chew. Good Sweetcorn shouldn't be hard. I've given it a try but won't be buying it again.
not a patch on green giant
I found this sweetcorn quite hard to chew, it was very husky. It wasnt particularly sweet either. I wont be buying it again.
Sweet and tasty.
I usually purchase fresh sweetcorn but this is equally sweet and tastes great steamed.
Very poor
Based on good reviews I decided to try this frozen sweetcorn. Sadly, even my strong gnashers could not cope with the stubborn refusal of the husks to be chewed! This unpalatable pack of kernels found a new home in the bin.
