This was just bland and very fatty and without any decent flavour and so, so disappointing when we had been looking forward to it. Had to throw away the rest of the packet it was so horrible. Unfortunately I'd ordered two in my online delivery so have wasted my money on a whole, unopened, second pack as well.
I like this - brilliant in pitta bread at lunchtime with avocado and tomato. Or on a platter with olives and tomatoes. But, the first dozen or so packs were nice and lean - like a good quality Italian proscutto equivalent. The last couple of packs were very grisly. I'm hoping that we go back to the leaner, better quality product soon.
Good value for what it is but it feels a little over processed, no fat and a little dry. Works well in quesadillas or sandwiches but doesn't feel authentic
