Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General. For best results oven cook from chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.
Warning
During heating, the packaging may become flexible. Leave on a baking tray/plate at all times during the reheating process. Handle carefully to avoid scalding. Packaging will regain strength on standing. When removing film lid after cooking, do so with caution as hot steam may escape.; Microwave - From Frozen. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid. Place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 6 minutes (900w, 800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute. Heat on full power for a further 4 minutes (900w), 4 minutes 30 seconds (800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.; Microwave - From Chilled. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid. Place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 4 minutes (900w, 800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute. Heat on full power for a further 2 minutes 30 seconds (900w), 3 minutes (800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.; Oven cook - From Frozen. Pre-heat your oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve and film lid. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven for 50-55 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat your oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas mark 5. Remove sleeve and film lid. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven for 30-35 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Recipe has been changed, tastes odd. Not recommended.

Tasteless

I bought this shepards pie and there were about three tablespoons of mince meat mixture and full of mashed potatoes. Horrible tastless. If I want mash I will buy separate. Also the lasagna. Same. Why don't you fill less mash potatoes and more meat mixture. I am so disappointed. Because I tried these for the first time and never want to try again.

Recipe Change, Preferred Previous

Another recipe change, the 2nd time in a year, and not for the better in my opinion. The Shepherds Pie before the recipe changes I used to think the best tasting of all the other supermarket ones. The new recipe I think is okay but not nice enough to make me want to buy it regularly. For me the gravy is lacking in enough salt, and I saw on the label that the salt content has been reduced compared to previous recipes.

Tasteless

We loved the old Morrisons Shepherds pie. This very poor imitation was smaller and absolutely tasteless. I doubt if the meat filling was lamb. It certainly didn’t taste like it. Bring back your old Shepherds pie. Horrid mash and very little “meat”. Not worth the money.

Awful,it was over spiced with oregano and mixed herbs more like you would expect with a bolognes than traditional British cottage pie if you like Italian it's okay but not for me

Tastes like plastic. Its all potato with no filling, making this expensive.
