Enjoyed this but prefer the Morrisons jar version.
I add cooked sausages to a large saucepan with this stock. Add tins of peas, potatoes, sweet corn, carrots and just anything I fancy in a tin. Simmer and serve with part baked bread rolls. Clean plates all round! I do the same with chicken and chicken casserole mix
I used Cumberland sausages for this. As my grandkids don't like mushrooms I added peas and sweet corn. I added a good pinch of thyme as I thought the tomatoey flavour was a bit strong. Clean plates all round will be having this again.
this sausage casserole mix is very nice, it has really good flavour, the sauce thickens nicely in the oven, just add some red pepper and onion and whatever other veg you fancy, I add carrots, peas and sweetcorn to mine, the family love it.
