kids love them

40pence! 40p!!!! Because its for the kids I do a tiny bit of prep to make it more glam than just a dead fish on a plate. I remove the scales (they just wipe off) I remove the spine (it just comes away with a gentle lift with a pointy knife) Serve with a few cherry tomatos and a squeeze of lemon. #Brainfood

Good purchase

three nice plump sardines in tin. Like the other reviewer I buy them as a treat for my dog, he loves them, better for him than dog treats & good for him too

Shame about the scales

The fish is meaty and tasty. But, the whole can is let down by the preparation of the product before canning. If you do not like to have a mouthful of scales and bones or spend 10-15 minutes removing most of the scales and bones then this is not for you. But you get what you pay for.

Simply delicious & Well Fed Sardines

If you are like me and love Sardines take a moment to try some of these Morrisons branded fishies. I buy sardines from all over and there is one that has a unique flavour, the Cucumber brand fine fish usually sold in a well know pound store for 99p each. Well, these must be from the same supplier because they tast identical, not only that, these are very plump and well fed sardines, not too much oil like others either, I do not know how Morrisons actually crammed the three huge fish in this tin, delicious, this made my sardines on toast perfect and I am delighted to have found them for only 40p per tin! This is a real bargain for wholesome natural food at it's best. Thank you Morrisons!
