One of my favorite cakes so far!
I tried this at Christmas & fell in love at first bite! I found the sponge very light & the caramel sauce amazing! I'm looking forward to having it again this weekend!

weak flavour ruins a potentially nice cake.
my husband and I had such height hopes for this gateau. unfortunately the nicest thing about it us the salted caramel topping, the rest of it just tastes of...well....nothing and the mousse type cream around the edge was weak and watery and fell away from the sponge. our advice? save your money and don't buy it.
