Safety Warning:
Warning
Although every care has been taken to remove bones, some may remain. This product has been packed in a protective atmosphere to ensure it reaches you in the best condition. As a result, when opening, you may notice a faint odour which will quickly disperse. The pancetta may cause the chicken to appear pink after cooking. This is normal and safe to eat.
Safety
Store raw meat covered at the bottom of the fridge. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and poultry and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly in between use. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods. Wash hands after handling raw meat and poultry. Unwrap and dispose of packaging carefully.

Ready to cook, really???
I have to agree with previous comments about this product as it is virtually impossible to end up with a finished product to the presented on the label. The pastry is woefully inadequate to cover the chicken, mine arrived looking like it had done a few turns in a tumble drier and when I tried to reassemble it before cooking the pastry was stuck firm to the metal container as no baking paper had been placed underneath. It was, however, tasty although it looked like it had been dropped (several times) Definitely needs work as a presentable dish. Would not purchase again.
Presentation Fail!
I have bought Chicken En Croute several times before but this particular supplier should be ashamed! They do not lay it on grease paper which results in the bottom layer of pastry remaining in the tin. It appears as though the assembly is poor. Two pieces of flat pastry thrown in, overlapping, which causes problems dishing up. Chicken thrown in, not necessarily on top of the pastry bottom. A squeeze of sauce, not necessarily on top of the chicken but smeared up the side of the tin. Then a piece of latticed pastry chucked in to finish (not wrapped around the chicken to form a parcel). I literally took everything out the tin and reconstructed it myself. Tastes good but I won’t buy it again due to the total lack of care by the supplier during assembly.
A mess
Invariably arrives as a mess, pastry bases overlapping and stuck to each other, meat slid to one end of the foil tray, etc - takes ages to try to separate and rebuild. And this is after being delivered by Morrisons ! Never !! looks like the photo. Why do Morrisons still stock this when they have seemingly replaced it with another, similar but slightly better made, version. Worst of all, compared to the excellent meal they both !replaced! last year, these are very poor.
not good
same as last review won't buy again!
Awful
Even though we followed yhe instructions this still stuck to the tray. All of the cheese leaves out as the top and bottom of the pastry were not joined. The piece of chicken was tiny and the bacon lardons were mainly fat. Very disappointed and poor quality for the price of £4.50.
pieces
I usually like this but the last two times it is not possible to get it out of the foil dish in one piece its in lots of pieces please do something about this Morrisons
