Morrisons quiche lorraine
Still a gorgeous quiche for the price. I love to cook it and when cooled stick it in the fridge overnight. I have it a normally with a basic salad and homemade warm potato salad the next day
Thick pastry
The pastry is very thick.
Whats gone wrong?
I have had these every week for ages and always enjoyed but those received today just didnt look right, burnt pastry and the filling had obviously overflowed during baking. Then when cooked on the same day the filling was almost still liquid and not consistent. I did eat some of it which proved unwise as I then had an upset stomach - theyre off my favourites list now!
Change of recipe?
Far too much thick pastry. Tasteless stodgy filing. Suggest chef visits France and tastes a real Quiche Lorraine.
Stodge
Thick stodgy pastry with tastless fillings..
