Where was the succulent steak?

I received a total of three pieces of steak which were very tough and inedible. Thank the lord is was on offer but even the an expensive price to pay for pastry and gravy. Will not purchase again.

Worst Pie ever.

Absolutely disgusting, Pastry top fell off whist trying to take from foil, this enabled me to see inside, Just four cubes of meat, and after biting into one massive chuck of fat which made me sick, i had to throw pie away. Could not taste the ale. Very disappointed and never buy again.

One of the best...

One of the best steak & ale pies, rich filling, nice pastry, so moreish - value for money. I buy them every week.

So nice, I could eat it twice.

I am not sure if I was just lucky, but my pie had a reasonable amount of steak within, and there was no fat or gristle. I loved ale and gravy sauce too Tasted blooming marvelous. I am not sure if it is a puff pastry top on it, it looked more like a short crust pastry to me, but I am no Paul Hollywood. Either way I loved it!

Very Disappointing

Was mostly carrot and gravy..there was 3 small pieces of steak.
