bland
The pastry on top is the best part. The filling is completely tasteless and mushy, could not distinguish any of the flavour elements. Very disappointing.
Bland but adding salt improved it greatly
The meat content is plentiful, but there is not much flavour. A small addition of salt improves it massively. There were a few bits of gristle in the pie I had, but overall it's good value for the price. I preheated the baking tray along with the oven and placed the pie in its foil dish on that. I removed the pie from the dish with 10 minutes of cooking left and then placed it directly on the baking tray and finished it off. All the pastry, including the bottom, was lovely.
Disappointing
We used to really like this pie, but the filling is disappearing and all you get now is the pastry.
Nice...if you like puff pastry ....
Not a lot of chicken in this...!!!
Tasteless
Very disappointing pies. Pastry was nice but I gave them an extra 5 mins in the oven and the bottoms were soggy. There was plenty of the filling but it was bland, no seasoning and tasteless. Will stick to the steak pies.
Absolutely Awful.
Absolutely tasteless, no flavour whatsoever or seasoning. Mushy bland filling. Usually my favourite pie elsewhere but this is appalling and inedible.
