This was utterly revolting, watery and with no flavour. I can't believe anyone's every bought it twice. Really really bad.
Like runny baby food. Very unimpressed.
Most of the lentils have been swapped out for some kind of gelling agent. The taste is like slightly smokey water and the texture is awful. Come on Morrisons, it's not like lentils are expensive!
Thoroughly enjoyed this tasty soup. Can definitely recommend.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper and it improves the taste greatly
I like this soup although flavor wise it is not quite as good as some of the other soups in Morrisons own range. Flavor wise it is comparable to lots of other bacon and lentil soups I have had. One area where this appears to score ahead of every other bacon & lentil soup that I have had is that it appears to use small pieces of proper bacon (Imagine if you cut a slice of bacon into a little square), all other bacon & lentil soups that I have had seem to use a pellet / splodge of reformed / processed pork.
