Its jam.
I wish I'd read the ingredients before buying. Almost entierly glucose/fructose syrup which makes it cloyingly sweet, the texture is weird and it's not very lemony. Avoid.
Tastes good for the price
I have been making Lemon Curd since I was small but old enough to stand on the kitchen stool and watch my grandmother make Lemon curd for the posh folk upstairs. She was often complimented on her cooking skills by the family, they could not afford to lose a cook such as she, who had received Cordon Bleu training This Lemon curd is excellent, not as good as my grandmother's but considering it is factory made it's not at all bad. I will give it 4 stars.
I bought the savers lemon curd instore as cheaper and better. This is the same with a lot of savers items as I think it's to get you to pay more with online shopping.
Has a very strange jelly like consistency. Probably be fine spread on toast but I like to mix with yoghurt and it just stays in lumps, doesn't mix. Not that lemony and has an artificial, sweet flavour to it. Spend a bit more and get something nicer!
