Why is shoulder great?
A classic choice for roasting, our whole lamb shoulder is a true crowd pleaser. Carve at the table for added wow factor.
Where do we get our lamb from?
We source our meat direct from British farmers we know and trust, so we know exactly where it comes from.
What to wash it down with¿
If you decide to spice up your menu, don't forget a bottle of our M Signature Shiraz.
Chef's Tip:
For that 'fall-off-the-bone' finish, roast your lamb shoulder slowly with a bottle of red poured over it and a sprig of rosemary.

Exceedingly Fatty
Extremely fatty - had to cut a lot of fat off before cooking, then drained over half a pint off after cooking. Definitely would not buy again.
Great value
Purchased whilst on offer, so cost me £21 instead of £26. Quite hard work to de-bone and cube / remove fat, but managed 1.6kg of meat! Using it for a tagine, so perfect!
Tasty lamb
I often buy this to roast whole, but this time decided to cube it and freeze it for future use cooking tagines and Mediterranean stews. Out of a piece just over 2 kilos at £8 per kilo I managed to get over 1420 grams after removing the excess fat and bone, so that works out at £11.73 per kilo for stewing lamb, which is good value these days. Roasted whole, or made into a slowly cooked stew, this always tastes great, and is tastier than a leg.
always out of stock!
why are your everyday neat products always out of stock such as this? this is sn ongoing issue with Norrisons. yes I love the fact that you are selling cheaper cuts such as Bavette Steak and Beef Skirt but this and other products that are everyday meat items are
Mythological meat
In times past I have had this and it was great but despite other parts of lamb sold this is always out of stock. Are your sheep crawling around on their stumps or do you just not sell stuff online anymore? If so, remove it from sight.
bland
Nice tender meat but pretty bland
