Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and heat as chilled. Do not reheat.

During heating, the packaging may become flexible. Leave on a plate or baking tray at all times during the reheating and stirring process. Handle carefully to avoid scalding. Chicken not suitable for microwave heating, oven heat as per guidelines. Remove sleeve and peel back the film over the chicken and the sauce sachet. Remove the chicken for oven heating. Open the sauce sachet and decant the contents back into the tray next to the rice. Re-cover the film, place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power as shown. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Remove film, stir well and serve with the chicken.; Oven cook - From Chilled. 190°C, 375°F, Gas 5 18 min
Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove sleeve and peel back the film over the chicken and the sauce sachet. Remove the chicken and place on a baking tray. Open the sauce sachet and decant the contents back into the tray next to the rice. Re-cover the film and place on a baking tray alongside the chicken. Place the baking tray in the centre of the oven. Turn the chicken halfway through heating and add 1 tablespoon of water to the rice. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Remove film, stir well and serve with the chicken.

Love it!
Make sure to heat up the chicken in the oven not microwave as it says on the packaging. Rice and sauce can be prepared in the microwave.

my friend and I enjoyed but understand the comment about aniseed would be nicer if other flavours could be added but still nice

Used to be nice but not anymore
When I first bought this it was yummy but recently they have had too much chilli flakes in making it too spicy. I tried picking it out but can't get all.

Why so much fat?
Chicken is nice, sauce is not, has an aniseed sort of flavour which is too strong. And gratuitous use of cheap palm oil for the sauce means it's very fatty but this adds nothing to the meal. Why can't this just have a nice non-extremely fatty curry sauce?

Cooking instructions incorrect
This tasted OK, BUT the cooking instructions were based on the container having 2 compartments-one for rice, one for sauce and chicken. That wasn't the case which lead to a lot of mucking about trying to work out how long to cook the rice and sauce for-Seriously NOT impressed!
