Edible
Add a chopped up skinless sausage to a tin of home brand spaghetti in tomato sauce and you have this ready meal. I suppose it saves opening a tin and frying a sausage.
Subtle sugary taste put me off
Initially I thought the tomato based sauce tasted nice, but towards the end of this meal I began to notice an underlying sweet taste. It wasn't overpowering but I didn't like the taste of sugar in an Italian meatball dish I'm eating. When I looked at the ingredients it had demerara sugar in it. The meatballs didn't have much of a meaty taste either. I won't be buying this again.
Has the recipe changed?
Been buying it for ages, recipe seems to have changed. Always had 6 meatballs in it, last time a measly 3 and very watery sauce
very nice
Delighted with this offering each time Ive ordered it. Tasty and, so far, no bits of gristle or bone in the meatballs.
Abbasalootally luvelly meetaballsaa!!!
Now then, this spaghetti & meatballs is very nice... a whole bowl of meatballs would be even nicer though.
Mmmmmmm Meatballs
As Italian ready meals go, this was pretty nice. Lovely thick, sweet tomato sauce. the Meatballs were great too, fatty enough to have taste but not too fatty that it made the dish greasy. Even the spaghetti was good.
