Why are Morrisons calling Granny Smith apples cooking apples? They are not! Have you tried making apple sauce with them They are rubbish

Battered apples

No idea what morrisons are doing with these apples. Gave up buying them as they come every week battered and bruised. Ended up making crumble with the last two lots as they were so bad.

Badly bruised

I love Granny Smiths and buy them every week, often you get one or maybe two a little bruised but the last few weeks the packs have had all the apples really badly bruised and inedible as a result. I hope the quality improves again soon!
