Very solid and had to be eaten on day of delivery
Listed with a guaranteed life of 2d+ including day of delivery. Delivered on 8 March with a best before date of 9 March. Have requested a refund as we won't are eating 6 buns in one day! Would be useful if the 'reason for refund' included a category for 'not the promised life', which would surely give much more useful feedback?
Not as expected
Sticky and solid more like a hot cross bun than a teacake
tasty tea cakes!
I find these absolutely lovely, not dry, enough fruit, toasted with butter! For the price they are well worth it! Delicious!
Used to be nicer
Used to buy these but lately they are heavy and flat. I struggled to slice them as they were so flat. Texture heavy and stodgy whereas they used to be lighter and fuller. Still a lovely taste but its as though theyve been squashed.
Surprised by other reviews
Am at a loss to understand the other reviews here. These teacakes are dry, lacking in fruit and have the strangest glaze I've ever seen on baked goods. Tasteless. This is third Morrisons own brand I have reviewed from my lastest order and they have all been extremely poor. No wonder Morrisons is losing so many customers. Value for money and taste seems to have dropped off the agenda.
