Too course.
Flavour wise it's good. However it isn't ground correctly for Espresso machines. Needs to be finer.
It\x27s not espresso
Espresso is very fine ground coffee - this one is not! Much too coarse for an espresso machine which leaves a watery taste rather than a rich flavour.
Best of Morrison's Ground Coffee
For £1.25 you really cannot go wrong. We've tried all of the Morrison's Ground Coffee varieties and this is by far our favourite. It has a nice creamy finish and really hits the spot. It comes out with a lovely frothy top from the espresso machine. Anyone who says it's bitter... well an Espresso is meant to be a shot of strong coffee so ofcourse you'll think that. But as a shot of espresso topped up with hot water and warm milk... wow it makes a great cup of coffee!
Wonderfully strong but smooth
If you like strong coffee then this is for you
Another bad batch?
Have to side with the original reviewer, no discernible taste; the best I can come up with is 'charred'. Two pots brewed on the stove to be sure, rest going back sadly
Its Lovely Coffee!!
I have been buying this coffee for many years and I love it. I use a "Gaggia Baby" and I always get good results. I know another review wasnt good but think this must have been a bad pack. Its well rounded, slightly nutty and not abit acidic. I always buy in "2's" as they're usually on offer at A£4. Whatever you do - and with whatever brand - don't scald it as you would with tea leaves, use off the boil water. Enjoy !!
