Preparation and Usage
Brand
Wash before first use.
Break an egg into the Egg Poacher Cup then, using the helper handle, carefully lower the Egg Poacher Cup into a pan of water which has been brought to the boil and now maintained at a simmer. The Egg Poacher Cup can either sit on the base of the pan or be suspendd in the water by hanging on the pan rim using the hook half way down the handle. When the egg is poached as desired, use the handle to lift the Egg Poacher Cup from the pan - it is recommended oven gloves are usedto do this as the item will become hot in use.

Works, just about, but a lot of effort required.
You can poach eggs in these but they are not worth the trouble. First you need to hang them inside the rim of saucepan, then top up with hot water to just below the top edge of the poachers. Take out the poachers and grease them well, very well. Break an egg into each poacher. Bring the water to a simmer, put the poachers back in the saucepan and put a lid on it. So far so good. When you consider your eggs are cooked, about two to three minutes, you have to remove the very hot poachers from the saucepan, ouch. Next, tip the water off the tops and remove the eggs from the poachers, not as easy as it sounds, after permanently damaging the non stick with a knife I used a cocktail stick to run around the outside of the eggs. Some egg white still sticks to the inside of the poachers and is disproportionately difficult to clean off. You also have a saucepan to clean as the egg doesn't always stay neatly in the poachers. All in all not worth the trouble.
Does not Work
Didn't cook well, or clean well afterwards
Not a bad product
Nicely designed and work well. Coating scratches easily though.
