What you get:
A sachet of cupcake mix
Cupcake cases
A sachet of chocolate flavoured icing mix
A sachet of dark chocolate curls
What you'll need:
1 medium egg
60ml of cold water
60g of softened butter
A whisk (electric is best but a hand whisk will do)
A mixing bowl
A cupcake tray
A wire cooling rack
How to Make the Perfect Cupcakes
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
1. Set your oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3 and leave it to warm up.
2. Place your cupcake cases into a cupcake tray, ready to fill.
3. Now, empty the cupcake mix into a mixing bowl and add the egg and water.
4. Whisk the mixture together until it's combined and smooth. This should take about a minute.
5. Next, spoon the mixture into the cupcake cases, dividing it as equally as you can.
6. Place the tray in the centre of your oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until your cakes are risen and springy.
7. When they're ready, take your cupcakes out of the oven and leave them to cool on a wire rack.
8. While they're cooling, beat 60g of softened butter with the chocolate flavoured icing mix until it's smooth and creamy.
9. Once the cakes have completely cooled, spread the chocolate icing on the top, sprinkle with the chocolate curls and serve. Then just try not to eat them all at once!
Top Tip:
Not sure if your cupcakes are cooked? Lightly press on the top of one - if it springs back into shape, it's ready. If not, give them a little bit longer.

Tasty!
Weve tried a few baking kits as theyre great for a rainy day with the kids. This is the best kit weve used, the cakes are delicious and the icing tastes very chocolatey. Big hit with the kids and adults! Definitely will be buying this again!
