CHERRIES✅DARK✅SWEET ✅ – SO NO COMPLAINTS FROM ME!
I enjoy making my own flavoured spirits (gin, rum, vodka), and I have found that one of the easiest ways to flavour a spirit is using frozen fruit. This works especially well with blueberries, and with cherries...though I would always use fresh if it's the peel (rind) that is needed (e.g. citrus fruits). These frozen cherries are utterly brilliant for my application: dark and sweet, they have a lovely flavour, and impart a deep purply-red colour to the spirit. I suspect that the cherries would also be excellent for making pies, served with custard, or with ice cream – or even made into ice cream! A firm (no pun intended!) favourite, they are my immediate go to when I want to make my own version of Wísniówka (Polish Cherry Vodka). Highly recommended – unless you have your own cherry tree, of course!
excellent value
These are tasty & juicy. I use them in porridge, overnight oats and in a crumble. Absolutely delicious & with fresh cherries always expensive these make good budget sense. Would recommend
big and juicy
really great cherries. big ripe and juicy. i have them in my prosecco.
disgusting
Tasteless with a weird texture, not sweet, completely unrecognisable as cherry. Not something I'd recommend.
Wash before use.
Bizarre choice by the supplier to freeze these without cleaning them first. Presumably this is because they are sprayed with pesticide but no chemical is named, unliked most oranges/clementines. Make sure you do wash them.
Cant fault it
Quick and convenient! I throw a handful in a bowl of porridge.
