Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Pre-heat your oven to 200°C/400°F Gas 6 and place the chicken in its bag on a baking sheet in the centre of the oven. Do not open or pierce the bag before cooking. Cook for 1 hour and 25 minutes. If you want the skin to be more crisp, remove the chicken from the oven at the end of cooking time and open the bag by slitting down the front with a knife or scissors. Return the chicken to the oven for a further 10 mins. Remove and pierce the thickest part of the breast meat with a skewer to check that there is no pink meat and the juices run clear. If more cooking is required, return to the oven. Continue cooking for a further 15 mins and retest. Take care when opening the bag as steam will escape and there will be a lot of cooking juices. Allow to rest 5-10 mins before carving. Serve and enjoy.

so tasty
I used to buy these from the deli counter and they were always nice. recovering from an operation and saw this was available for delivery so thought I'd try it. it was so tasty and 'moist' so I'm now having it for main meals and sandwiches.

Why on earth has Morrison’s changed the Recipe?
I agree with PMRM, what on earth has Morrisons done with changing the Recipe of their ‘Extra Tasty Chicken’? It’s now bland and uninteresting. This was always the best tasting chicken I have ever eaten, and many others agree. What idiot chef, clearly without any tastebuds whatsoever, decided that this change was necessary? PLEASE Morrison’s return to the original recipe!
