Watery sweet and sour sauce
Although not a regular purchase, I buy it every couple of months. I was shocked by the change of the sweet and sour sauce consistency, which for me is essential to the recipe. It was so watered down, there was no lovely thickened sweet and sour sauce that I have come to expect in this dish. There was plenty of chicken, but it was over run by large chunks of raw red pepper, which didn't soften during the cooking process. Added to this there were two pieces of pineapple so hard I couldn't eat it. I have previously found the pineapple pieces to be soft and delicious. Maybe I was unlucky with this portion of sweet and sour chicken on this occasion, but it was not an enjoyable dish. I will think twice before buying it again
liked it
Nice and we liked how it wasnt battered chicken
Facepalm
The chicken is tender. And this Morrisons sweet and sour chicken has pineapple and onions in it but the actual sauce doesn't taste very good - which is exactly the opposite to the frozen, cheaper version. If only they could somehow combine the two together!
Not cheap but !
Very nice taste and went well with my rice, not cheap but worth it .
Stay away
Absolutely vile meal which I thought would be great after a 12 hour shift. Its just got no flavour and the pineapple is solid, definitely not what I was expecting- even the plain boiled rice I had with it had more flavour.
Tasty but not worth £3.75!
Bought when was on offer £2 and did enjoy it, however defo not worth paying £3.75 in my opinion very expensive!
