Lovely

Blue cheese can be a bit hit or miss for me, but this was delicious. Creamy with a nice taste that wasnt like old feet. I only meant to have a little but it was so good i ate half in one sitting :D

GORGEOUS!!

Love this...but don't keep it in the main fridge. Either put it in the covered cheese shelf or keep it on the top shelf in a larger plastic box. Leave it to come to room temperature before eating

Tried buying again

To the previous reviewer who said blue cheese isn't meant to be salty? This poor quality cheese neatly shows you what happens when a blue cheese has insufficient salt. It means that you get strong bitter notes instead. It's also desperately underripe, chalky and crumbly. A really poor example of what can be a superb cheese. It needs the right amount of salt and it needs more time in maturation to be acceptable.

For someone who has tasted a number of Stilton cheeses, this is very good. I will certainly buy again.

Poor Stilton

Chalky texture and flavour lacking. Plenty of salt but no creaminess with muted blue cheese taste coming through

Not soft and creamy like other blue stilton. Very dry and chalky.
