Cooking Guidelines
Hob - From Chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled not suitable for microwave cooking or cooking from frozen. Remove from packaging and gently fry the meat in a tablespoon of oil over a medium heat until browned. Add your desired stock or sauce and vegetables. Cover and gently cook on a rolling simmer stirring occasionally for 2-3 hours.
I made a beef and tomato soup. Starting with browing this in a pan with onions. Throwing in two tins of chopped tomatoes, seasoning, worcestershire sauce and a couple of stock cubes. When boiling, turned it down to simmer for about 3 hours (basically I got busy and forgot about it) And it was perfect. The meat was so tender I will make it again.
Absolutely love this Braising steak,so tender when it's been in the Slow cooker all day, only downfall when I order 2 packs is one is always smaller than the other, but other than that, I have never had a problem.
