These are great for apple crumble, fresh Bramley apples are sadly more miss than hit these days whereas I never had a bad tin of these.
Whole family love these, delicious and good quality.
completely tasteless - bought 2 of these tins to use for a quick apple pie/crumble - won't be buying again.
I always keep some of these in the store cupboard for making pies, sauces and eating with yogurt for breakfast. They cook well and are perfect when fresh fruit isn't available. They are firm and hold their shape when arranged in a flan or cook down well for apple sauce.
I bake everyday and these apples are as good as any fresh apples. They are crisp and keep their shape when baked definitely a store cupboard stable
The contents were turfed into the bin. Maybe as I use fresh Bramley apples usually, often from shop and from my own garden in Aug and Sept I know the difference between good and bad. Contents of tin were awful. never again! Back to real whole apples to chop!
