Old Golden Hen captures a celestial ray of sunshine in the form of a rare and very special Tasmanian hop called Galaxy. The result is a triumph for this golden ale's sheer powers of refreshment.

Hold it up to the light before tasting, and savour its bright golden glow. Spot, if you care to, the note of grapefruit and mango on the nose and then sip. Malty sweetness, a hint of tropical fruit and a clean finish: out of this world.

This golden ale is best served chilled and pairs perfectly with chicken and bacon dishes, as well as light salads and pasta dishes.

Excellent Beer with big citrus notes

A really surprising beer for the price; absolutely first class drink for those who enjoy straw coloured citrusy beers. It has become one of my favourites!

I buy this regular fo my husband he loves the malty taste catch it when it's on offer @ £1.00 instead of £1.75
