Awful
Bought 2 bottles and both poured down sink. Tasted like cheap plonk from supermarket in France costing 2€
Avoid
Disgusting and undrinkable
Awful. Avoid
Morrison’s gave me this as a substitute as mine wasn’t available (think they’re trying to get rid of it). Upon first pour, it was so thin and bodiless, I thought I’d poured tinted water. (I think the ladies wanted their fingers back, as there wasn’t even a shadow of one). As for the fruity aromas mentioned in its write up, I think they went on holiday and got the smell and taste of watered down vinegar in to bottle sit.. it’s awful. So much so, after one sip, it got poured straight down the sink.. If you like a decent Malbec with body and flavour, avoid this one, don’t waste your money, and Morrisons, stop giving it as a substitute. (Better still, don’t stock it)!,
Horrible
Dont buy this, it is horrible
Poor substitute for Alzar Malbec
Even at "reduced" price of two bottles for £10, this is still a poor wine. NEVER worth £7.50 a bottle. (PS we buy a lot of red wine - interesting that it's not unusual for the wine we ordered 3 weeks before delivery, and was shown as still "in stock" when finalising our order the night before delivery day, suddenly is "out of stock" come the delivery - and even more interesting that on the rare (!!??) instance an alternative is available, it's a much poorer quality.... but hey at least Morrisons don't smash the bottles during delivery like other major supermarkets always do.
French plonk
Tried this when it was on offer as it is a recommendation from the Yorkshire post. it's light bodied and has that particularly earthy flavour that you get with cheap French red wine. It gave me a bad headache
