Product Description
Beta-Glucan*
*Did you know? Oat beta-glucan has been shown to contribute to maintaining normal blood cholesterol, which may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. This MOMA porridge pot contains 2.1g of beta-glucan from oats, which is 68% of the suggested daily amount.
I started MOMA because I think we all deserve a quality breakfast. We sold our first oats from a stall (made from a converted filing cabinet) in Waterloo Station and haven't looked back. Breakfast is literally about 'breaking the fast' after a night's sleep. It's so important. It kick starts your metabolism and fuels your brain and body through the morning. We make our porridge the way it should be - using the perfect blend of wholegrain oats to give a creamy yet chunky texture, and a delicious taste.
Enjoy,
Tom

Great grab and go sugar free option
The ingredient list on these are great - just oats and milk powder - making them a fantastic grab & go option. They probably seem plain because they don't have any added sugar that's just how I like mine, I just throw in some berries or banana for sweetness.

A bit bland
These are ok but not a patch on other makes that are available. You need to add something otherwise there's no pleasure in eating them.

it's ok to keep as standby
Before I write my review I must applaud the very clever Bohemian Rhapsody parody of the earlier reviewer I don't necessarily agree with all of the points made in that review but the inventiveness and humour in it is delightful! I have only tried this as it came as a free gift with an order I placed and I wouldn't actually buy it on a regular basis as it is too expensive, too high in calories and too high in carbohydrates as well as being too great a portion size. It was a little gluey in texture but I added a little more water and it improved it somewhat but the taste was good. Personally I prefer the large, whole oats of old fashioned types and brands of porridge oats and I believe that this suffers in texture because I think these are flaked oats flaked so they can be cooked by merely adding water rather than cooking the old fashioned way. If it cost less I would buy a few to keep in the cupboard for those moments when I want something tasty, fast and filling.

Moma ooooo
Is this real Porridge? Is this just fantasy? Tried it for breakfast,no escape from reality Opened the pot, look up to the skies and see I'm just a porridge eater, I need no sympathy Because I'm easy come, easy go, tried Scott's and Quakers and others too Any type of porridge it doesn't really matter to me, to me Moma, just made a pot Put the kettle on to boil Poured the water to the line Oh Moma, I left it to stand for five But now I've gone and thrown it all away Moma, ooh, didn't mean to make you cry I've tried it once but wont be back tomorrow Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters Too late, my time has come Taste sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth Mama, ooh, I don't want to try Sometimes wish I'd never tasted this at all

Gorgeous and healthy!
I've eaten Moma for a while now as I'm gluten free. Consistency is perfect and if you want to add sweetness just add fresh honey! I've also added fresh fruit to add that extra bit of fibre.
