Best natural peanut butter
Can't compare to other brands as this was the first peanut butter I tried, but I had no problems with it. Texture was thick and easy to use. Mix for a few seconds after opening initially and no problems with separation. Bigger jars on offer price will be better value if you eat it regularly enough to use up.
When I first saw this I thought it was odd. It was runny and oily and I thought this can’t be peanut butter. When I read the ingredients and saw it contained only peanuts I was surprised. I have to stir it before use so the oil and nuts combine, and on the odd occasion it can be messy sometimes as it does drip from my knife. My family have yet to be convinced because it’s not what they’re used to but if the ingredients consist solely of peanuts that’s a good thing. It doesn’t contain hydrogenated palm oil, stabilisers, antioxidant and added sugar, which are ingredients that are found in other brands of peanut butter. I’ve got used to it now and it tastes good too.
This was given as a substitute on my last delivery. Strange consistency, grainy and unpleasant. It had also separated in the jar, a runny brown ooze with a thick bitty lump in the middle. In a word...vile. I want creamy thick, non-oily smooth peanut butter, not this natural stuff!
Free from Palm oil, added salt and plastic free! what's not to love?
Cannot comment on taste since I never got as far as eating it. I tried to spread it onto toast but a knife was useless because it was the consistancey of milk. I tried a spoon but it just run off the toast. Inedible and a waste of money
