lovely smooth red
This is probably my favourite wine. Ive tried lots and I always come back to this. Goes with more or less everything, or on its own.
Works well with cheese
Not deterred by some of the negative reviews on here, I gave this a try as McGuigan wines are usually reliable. While not dry, I certainly wouldn't describe it as sweet. Works well with cheese and I would think also with pate.
Favourite so far
I bought a little bottle of this wine to try and I was quite surprised it was smooth and slightly sweet , I hate dry wine . I will be getting a bigger bottle .
beautifully smooth and FAR TOO DRINKABLE!!
The description does nor indicate whether it is a Malbec, Shiraz, etc, but based on other wines I drink it is closest to a Malbec. Deliciously smooth, and as recommended, it went really well with an Italian tomato-based dish. Ive also used it for slow cooking when the recipe calls for a good-quality wine, and its worthy of being used in this way. I purchase this regularly now - whether on offer or not.
Delicious
Thought we would try due to reviews, what can I say - delicious. Fruity, sweet and very easy to drink. Good red for someone who wants to get into drinking red wine. Doesn't leave a dry taste in your mouth.
Lovely, rich flavour
Great to have as a glass on its own
