Awful
I think it seems to ferment in packaging, awful aftertaste. Slice it thin and falls to bits, blocking toasted and setting alight! Only bought it yesterday. Has a very long shelf life. Not natural
Avoid
This tastes terrible. An unusual chemical taste to it (described as gassy by someone else). I couldn't finish it. I did get worried when i saw such a long shelf life on this. Lathering in butter didn't take the unpleasant taste away. Avoid
not very good
A very weird gassy type taste to this brack . I found it unpleasant. Palatable with some butter. Wouldnt buy again.
Tastes of Plastic
At first bite this is lovely but then it left a plastic taste in my mouth. So much so that I couldn't eat the rest.
OK but odd tasting
Love brack honestly one of my favourite sweet treats. This is OK, I did eat most of it, but it has an odd taste to it, almost plasticky. I couldn't really put my finger on it tbh, and it wasn't something I'd found in other bracks that I've had over the years. I have rated it a three because other people may really enjoy it and not experience the odd taste, unfortunately I really didn't. I finished most of it because I thought after the first couple of slices I was imagining it, but no, it was still there and after a while I couldn't ignore it. Nevermind.
Delighted to have found this available here.
To be able to have this delivered on its own, I agreed to pay for A£40.00 worth in one delivery. No problem. They are dated so many months ahead unopened that I only open one at a time, slice it with a bread saw knife, freeze the slices in used Ice cream tub, so can have a fresh slice every day! System works, so I intend repeating my order as necessary. Great buy, loads of fruit, true traditional flavour. Wonderful.
