Please follow the first two 'in the oven' instructions above, then place your shake shake fries in the basket. Shake half way through cooking. Cook until they're lovely, crisp and light golden.; Cooking Instructions - General. Here's how to cook your McCain Shake Shake Fries. To get the best results cook from chilled, our instructions are guidelines only.
For the most delicious results, do not overcook!
Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Preheat the oven to 200°C Fan/ Gas mark 7.
Do not place the bag in the oven.
1. Carefully open the bag of fries, tear open the sachet and add the seasoning from the sachet to uncooked product, close bag.
2. Shake product in bag, ensuring fries are evenly covered.
3. Tip and spread your shake shake fries in a single layer onto a baking tray and pop it into the top of the oven.
Bake for 17-19 minutes, turning them every now and again, until they're lovely, crisp and light golden.

Lovely, but would like more flavour

The first thing that surprised me about these fries is that they're not frozen. They keep in the fridge so be careful, the ones I purchased have a very short "use by" date - less than a week! It's a fun concept and reminiscent of the crisps you used to be able to buy with the little bag of salt inside. You open the bag, find the seasoning sachet, empty it over the fries then shake the bag to coat them. You do NOT cook them in the bag, you have to empty them out onto a baking tray and bake as you would normal oven chips. The cooking instructions were spot on. The resulting fries were crisp on the outside and soft inside but I was disappointed with the flavour, personally I'd have liked twice as much seasoning. In short, they were nice for a change, but the fact you can't keep them in the freezer would put me off from purchasing them again.

Very nice

Fries with a nice seasoning, cooked quickly. A slightly different twist we all enjoyed. Perfect with steak.

Delicious!

These are so nice and brilliant value when on offer. Store has only had these in once but delivery seems to have them regularly.

Boring

Didn't really think these had much flavour to be honest. They were fine, the chips themselves were good, but I'd rather buy cheaper plain oven chips and put seasoning on them myself.
