Cooking Guidelines
Microwave - From Frozen. Here's how to cook 130g of McCain Mash. If cooking a different amount, adjust the cooking time accordingly. To get the best results cook from frozen, our instructions are guidelines only. For the most delicious results, do not overcook!
Weigh out 130g of McCain Mash into a 2 litre microwaveable bowl, cover and place in the microwave oven. Cook on full power. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Ensure potato is piping hot throughout before eating.
1 Portion (130g) 700W 3 mins, 800W 3 mins, 900W 2 mins 30 secs.
Leave to stand for 1 minute after cooking.
Please take care: After cooking the bowl and mash will be very hot!
Please note: all microwave ovens vary - you may need to adjust cooking times to suit your own model.
Do not leave microwave oven unattended while cooking.
Do not use this product after the best before date.

Fantastic Mashed Potato
I tried this and thought it might be like that horrible "Smash" potato mix. Completely and absolutely wrong this mashed potato is easy to make and tastes lovely. You cannot tell the mashed potato has come from a frozen packet- add some butter and it's even better.

probably never make mash again...
bought this for the freezer as an emergency back up thinking it would be like Smash but after trying it for the first time I can't imagine going through the hassle of making mash again!! Tastes home made with minimal effort and no washing up!

i don't know what people's home made mash tastes like but this tastes nothing like homemade. i only bought on strength of reviews but nobody in my house liked this.
