yuck!
I didn't read the reviews before buying, wish I had. tasted like chemicals, like the banana flavoured medicine you got as a kid. really disappointed.

tastes fake
The cake tastes like it is made with banana flavouring rather than fresh bananas. Really disappointed seeing as this is a morrisons special

disappointing
Banana sponge is quite nice but the choc chips are not dissimialr to rock hard pebbles, made eating this like chewing a banana flavoured bag of gravel. Inedible.

artificial tasting
I bought this cake for my husbands birthday as he loves banana chocolate cake. It was the first time I purchased this particular product. This cake was very dry even though it states a moist loaf cake. It tastes like it is made with an artificial banana essence that leaves a nasty lingering taste. Its a very small cake small battenberg size for £2, I would save your money. Just seen the best before date is end of May its now mid March so filled full of preservatives and tastes like it too. As a special market loaf should be fresh banana loaf made with real banana! very disappointed and will not be buying again.
