disgusting
this isn't monkfish tail it's monkfish bone it takes ages to get rid of bone and when you do the meagre bit of fish left is tasteless and tough don't bother selling this strip it and put in batter or breadcrumbs
tasteless
I have had monkfish before, and enjoyed it. This tail was tasteless and therefore not enjoyable.
Poor piece of fish for the price
As others have said, it has a central bone and very little fish on either side. Just not worth it.
Poor Quality Fish
Comes with central bone [either leave in to cook or easily remove] and with the membrane covering the flesh which must be removed unless you want a tough, shrivelled up piece of fish. Taste-wise, I've had far, far better - a second rate piece of fish.
delivered sat opened sunday
use by date next day after delivery at 6 in the evening saturday opened 4oclock sunday all the membrain still on and stunk the house out, nothing like the picture at all bad show morrisons a very expensive waste of money
Riddled with worms
The 2 tails I had both contained numerous worms. Sadly as I had frozen them I was too late for a refund, but I will not be ordering them again
