Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. These instructions are a guide only. Cooking appliances vary. Thoroughly cook all pork products until no pink meat remains. Cover joints with foil and rest for 15 minutes before serving. Pre-heat oven to 200°C/Fan 190°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Season the meat, place in a roasting tray and cook on the middle shelf of the oven for 35 minutes per 500g, plus a further 35 minutes.
Only bought this joint as the usual pork loin one was out of stock online. It was the worst. roast pork we have ever had. It was riddled with fat and was tough, chewy and inedible so all we had for dinner were roast potatoes, veg and Yorkshire puds. Total waste of money and electricity.
The joint I was sent with my home delivery is dreadful very fatty wish I had taken up the drivers offer to check my fresh products I would have sent it back lesson learnt !
