Delicious! Ok yes sugar is main ingredient but that is to be expected with a tamarind sauce. The balance of flavour is good, tangy sweet spicy but not too spicy. Very nice accompaniment to any Indian food - on the side of curries, as you would a chutney, or as a dip for samosa and bhajis, lovely with a dollop of plain yogurt as another dip alongside. This will always be in my home now.

The same old Tamarind but

This Tamarind sauce has been sold at Morrisons for ages, always similar quality, but what happened to selling the Hot and Sweet version that used to be sold a few years ago! Bring it back!
