Regional Information

The grapes for Cava come from plots that enjoy a diversity of microclimates, as a consequence of the proximity to the coast and the altitude of some vineyards that can reach 750m above sea level. This allows the native varieties of Cava to fit into the different landscapes of the region according to their needs, with Xarel·lo predominating in the coastal zone, Macabeo in the valley and Parellada in the highest areas.

Vinification Details

The blend is from different wines, some of which, once the primary fermentation is complete, age on their lees, in tank, for three months. A minimum of 15 months ageing in contact with the lees, in conditions of total darkness and calm, 20 metres below ground and at a constant, natural temperature of between 14 and 16ºC.

Wow, love love love

I'm a big fan of cava, I've had some great champagne in my time but I still go back to the Spanish fizz because I love it, especially if it is dry like my regular bottle in Morrisons. I thought I would treat myself to this though, (an extra £1.50 still very reasonable)!, to the usual fizz but after reading the reviews particularly the 1 like myself whom likes it on the dry side, this is the business! I didn't eat it with cake, or fish, I had it on its own, I have a new favourite, just ordered another couple of bottles even though for me it is a celebration tipple an not my usual drink, I intend to have a few more in 2024!

Lives up to \x27The Best\x27 label!

Lovely dry Cava, if like me you find a lot of Proseccos to be a little on the sweet side. Very drinkable, better than a lot of champagnes I've tried. And a steal at the price. Highly recommended!

Kind of tasteless, which makes it easy to drink, but really nothing else on the palet besides lemon and apple.

not chilled once again!!!!

Ordered as this should be delivered chilled and so paid more for a chilled bottle, but I am yet to receive a chilled bottle! Lovely wine but cant drink on the evening of delivery!
