Tasty and very nice.
I buy these often. I bake them and let them go cold. Then put them in the fridge overnight. Better cold than hot. Serve with brown sauce. Not cheap but really good.
Just a Mush
When cooked it was just a mushy paste and not tasty. Got binned I'm afraid.
Awful
I'm sure I used to buy these years ago and they were fine but tried recently and the pastry didn't rise/cook properly and the filling was really bland and unpleasant. The second time I cooked them (to use up what I had bought) I took the lids off and mixed in a little vegan 'beef' Oxo which improved the flavour a bit. Certainly won't buy again though.
Terrible
Everything else from this range is great. Not this though. Terrible
Scratch the missing meat itch
I'm newly pescatarian and have only stopped eating meat for 7 months or so. These don't quite taste like meat but they are close enough to a mince based pie (and texturally spot on) that I like them. I remember the first time I ate them not enjoying them quite so much but perhaps I'm far enough away from eating meat now that the slight difference isn't something that bothers me. They satisfy an urge to have meat without eating it and really handy that they cook from frozen in only 30 min (fan oven).
Awful tang
My veggie son insisted I tried these so I knew how arwful they were and I wouldn't buy them again.
