Leopard's Leap was conceptualised at the turn of the century by winemaker and businessman Hein Koegelenberg, with guidance from his late father in law, internationally renowned industrialist, Dr Anton Rupert.

The beautiful Franschoek Valley is small wine region, featuring a range of soil types.
Vinification Details
Grapes are picked at 24.5 degrees. Balling, then sorted, destemmed and crushed.
Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts accompanied by pump-overs and punch-downs at 25 degrees to ensure optimal colour and flavour extraction.
