Being from Scandinavia, and basically being raised on a combination of sardines on bread, cheese on bread and pate on bread, I've been looking for sardines in tomato sauce that would taste pretty much the same as those I was used to. These are perfect and are great on a slice of toast or pumpernickel. We now get this every week.
I buy these for myself and my wee dog. I have to wash the sauce off first. I tried her with other ones in oil and in brine but strangely likes the one in tomato sauce. I think she likes to see me work.
