nothing special
Incredibly sweet and not too great. Overpriced as are most Heinz tinned products.
Beans with Curry flavoured sauce
I have eaten these for the last 30 + yrs and the sauce still tastes the same. They have removed the sultanas, disappointing, but reducing the sugar content. It is simple to add a handful of your own just before cooking. Personally i like to add the sultanas or raisons, dilute the sauce with a little milk, then 4 mins in the microwave with a cover on, delicious. Buy when on special offer. Would be great if you could still get the small tins.
HasBeanz
I bought these mistaking them for Curried Beans which I had around 30 years ago (they had fruit & sultanas in). These are a huge let down as they are premium priced but economy quality beans with a bit of curry flavoring thrown in. My advice would be to save your money and instead buy either Branston or Morrisons own brand beans (both of which are excellent) and add a little curry powder & some sultanas. While it is true that Heinz where the market leader in past decades, it is evident from this product that Heinz is putting it's huge wealth into it's advertising because it certainly isn't going into it's products.
