Product information

This beauty is the face of the new wave of Aussie Chardonnay. Full bodied, delicious tropical fruits and ripe melons combine with leaner, fresher oak flavours. Confident, elegant, gorgeous: if this wine were a super model, it would be Elle Mcpherson.

More about this product;

In life we often talk about benchmarks. Something new and wonderful is usually “the best thing since sliced bread”. Something that isn't that hard to do is “not rocket science”. Sliced bread and rocket science are our markers for what's good and what's difficult. When it comes to the new wave of Australian Chardonnay: Hardys Nottage Hill is the benchmark. Back in the day, Aussie Chardonnays were famous for their ripe, confident flavours, with a smooth oaky finish that some people found a bit cloying. The new wave of Aussie Chardonnays – as defined by this Hardys Nottage Hill - have been to the gym. You still got awesome rich, tropical fruit and melon flavours but the oaky character is leaner, perkier and toned down. The result: the most delicious, elegant dry white wine.
- White Wine, - South Eastern Australia, - Appearance: Bright straw, - Palate: A well-balanced wine with plenty of stone fruit and lively citrus characters giving great flavour and a pleasant lingering finish. Seamlessly integrated vanillin oak gives complexity, while a tight acid structure provides backbone that enhances flavour depth and length

Good Chardonnay for the price

A nice Chardonnay for the price. There are Chardonnays I prefer to this one, but for the price, cant fault it really. Quite a rounded flavour, not acidic. Enjoyable.
