In 1824 John Haig established the Cameronbridge distillery and it was there that he pioneered the art of producing grain whisky in continuous Coffey and Stein stills - an invention which laid the foundations for the growth and success of the modern Scotch Whisky industry. Tasty...and the bottle was upcycled too
I recieved two bottles of this a few Christmases back, 1ltr and 700ml, word got around I like my Whisky. I usually drink Grants for medicinal purposes, Irish whiskey for the weekend. I find this Haig very smooth and tasty, perfect with a dark ginger ale. Afterwards, the bottles were upcycled into decorative table lamps, result; happiness all around.

Can't give zero...
Dreadful. Tastes more like bad vodka than bad whisky. Really, really appalling. Avoid and save your money

very palatable
my husband likes brands like, Jim Beam, Captain Morgan, Jack Daniels,when he saw this advertised he thought he'd give it a go, and he wasn't disappointed, he's tried it with coke, water and ice, he says it's very smooth and very palatable, we buy it when it's on offer and stock up for special occasions.

GOOD STUFF
Ignore the 1 star review, some people just can't help complaining. I have been a whisky drinker for 45 years and this is a good tipple. Stick it in the freezer 3 to 5 hours before drinking. Once opened leave in the freezer until consumed, in my case about 4 days.
