Oven cook - From Chilled. Preheat your oven to 180°C /Fan 160°C /Gas Mark 4 and remove all packaging...
1 Prick skin & season...
...Pat the skin of the duck legs with a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. Prick the skin and season with salt and black pepper, if desired.
2 Roast in oven...
...Place on a wire rack above a roasting tray and cook in the middle of the oven for 90 minutes.
3 Rest & serve...
...Rest the meat for 10 minutes and then serve.

Nice duck with easy to follow instructions
This was my first time cooking duck but after following the instructions I was pleased with the result. I would say it is like a richer version of turkey with lovely crispy skin. Recommended.

tough as old boots
Bought these a few times before and they have been fine but this evening, one was absolutely fine and the other was inedible. It was really tough couldn't be cut. Wouldn't buy again

what's going on
I buy these quite often with no problems but this week, along with my chicken I purchased the meat had already gone bad well before the use by date. Are these meats left out in heat and not refrigerated straight away as they should be?
