This Juliénas has been made from Gamay grapes and carefully selected for its peppery aromas and subtle hints of violets. A wine to be laid down, best served at 16°C with game, grilled red meat or mature cheese.

History
Young and full of energy, Georges set off with the family-grown wines strapped to his bicycle in the 1950s, meeting top restaurateurs like Gaston Brazier, Paul Blanc, Paul Bocuse, Jean and Pierre Troisgros, and even the Haeberlin brothers. This created a demand for better quality Beaujolais.

Julienas is a cru vineyard in the Beaujolais region. The wines are succulent and ripe compared to the other crus.
