A saucy sensation
Much like a forbidden romance, the Fray Bentos pie's can-shaped allure concealed a world of indulgence. This pie was a culinary journey, a tale of sensual intrigue that left me craving more. It's a love story that unfolds with every delicious bite, a rendezvous I won't soon forget.
They are listening
Have bought recently and although there is still room for a little more I think they now do contain a bit more meat. They are obviously paying attention to the bad reviews but there is still room for improvement and a little more meat will make such a difference to these pies that are not short on flavour. Fingers crossed.
The war is over.
Will someone tell Fray Bentos that the war is over and the ships are now getting through. It is no longer necessary to make gravy pies without meat. It could be worse I suppose, no meat and no gravy just soggy pastry. 1/10 must try harder.
If you enjoy.....
playing "Hunt The One Piece Of Meat" then this is the pie for you.
Great taste
To be fair the meat content & flavour seem much improved. Fair bit of Kidney in mine today & a thicker tastier gravy. Not sure about the steak content though.
Terrible product
I agree with other reviews about the poor meat content. I've seen more meat on a butchers apron! Not even worth £1 when on offer.
