yummy gravy pie
Lovely tin of gravy with the best flakey pie crust. Just don't expect to find more than a tablespoon of meat throughout the whole pie. It's literally a tin or gravy with a pie crust.
Nostalgia isnt how you remember it!
With fond memories of my childhood I cooked this with great anticipation. Sadly Id been wearing rose-coloured spectacles when I bought it - or it has been seriously dumbed down. There seemed to be absolutely NO meat in it. The pastry is dreadful, and as I type this there is still a greasy film coating the inside of my mouth. The crust made it look promising but the rest of the top manages to be like a soggy bottom?! AVOID!
just pastry
Empty frugal pies
I like them
I realise these aren't to everyone's taste but I like them, I like the pastry, I like the gravy and although there should be more meat, the meat that there is is NOT gristly nastiness like many minced beef meals. The pastry is too thick, I just like the crispy bit.
disgusting
This must be the worst pie I have ever had. It not pastry it's a sticky dough and there not much meat all gravy. Do not buy
